This authentic replica scale model airplane is of the Fairchild AC-119K Stinger aircraft. The Stinger was a piston powered twin engine aircraft primarily used as a gunship during the Vietnam War. The U.S. Air Force used this aircraft from 1968 until retirement in 1971. Ultimately 52 units were built of the AC-119 Stinger.
