Anderson flew as a fighter pilot to become a triple ace with confirmed 16 ¼ aerial victories against the Luftwaffe during WW II. Col. Anderson had named the Mustang aircraft after the famous whiskey. Each print was personally signed by Col. Anderson which measures about 8 inches by 10 inches. The photo is then attractively matted and framed in mahogany wood that measures about 12 inches by 15 inches.
After WW II Col. Anderson went on to become a daring test pilot and eventually flew over 100 different aircraft and logged over 7,000 hours of flight time. Col. Anderson went on to win numerous awards like the Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Sat and 16 Air Medals.
