Our Airplane Rug is the ideal finishing touch to decorating an airplane nursery or any airplane themed room such as a bedroom, bathroom or play area. This rug is full of whimsy with a flying pig (in larger sized rugs) and other early day flying machines such as a biplane, monoplane, helicopter and even a zeppelin gracing the surface area. This rug displays a vibrant and wide range of colors so it can easily fit into a variety of color palettes. The Airplane Rug is made of hand-tufted soft mod-acrylic. That means that the rug gives the appearance and feel of wool but without the hefty price tag of a wool rug. Hand carving around the rain drops and clouds etc. add texture and interest to the Airplane Rug.

The Airplane Rug is available in many sizes and shapes as listed below. Please be aware that only the larger size rugs show the complete design as displayed in the photograph. Having a variety of sizes to select from is convenient for decorating as you may wish the 8x10 rug in the bedroom and the 2x3 rug in the bathroom to add continuity to an airplane themed room.

Whimsical Airplane Rug

My daughter's theme for her second son's bedroom is airplanes. I ordered the item about 6 weeks prior to her baby shower. Due to a delay of it's arrival I received a wonderful call from a delightful person from Tailwinds letting me know how sorry they were but the rug would not arrive until a week after the baby shower. I completely understood and knew that it would arrive prior to his actual due date. Much to my surprise, the rug arrived the day before the shower with a nice note saying that they did their best for it to be here before the shower. I surprised my daughter by putting it in his bedroom on the floor when she was out shopping. She responded with such a happy loving text message to me. It was a wonderful addition to an already beautiful baby boy's room.

I am rating this product a 5 star for not only excellent workmanship on the rug but for the excellent customer service that I received. Because of the communication to me regarding this product I would still rate it a 5 because of the customer service. Thank you.
