This B-17G Flying Fortress Model, Sentimental Journey, airplane is a replica scale model of the original aircraft manufactured by Douglas. The B-17G bomber aircraft saw little action as it was produced in late 1944. It was assigned to the Pacific Theater, and stored in Japan for a couple of years. It is now flown by the Commemorative Air Force at air sows around the county, and can be seen at the museum in Mesa, Arizona.
