They are gorgeous jackets displaying a B-17 bomber aircraft on the front and on the back of the jacket. Not in the mood to be so bold no problem just reverse the jacket which is also silk. The black silk jacket with the B-17 on the outside reverses to a plain blue silk inside.
These designer jackets were made exclusively for Tailwinds in the U.S.A. It took about 15 hours to produce just one jacket. The process starts with white silk being hand dyed. The fabric is then placed on a stretcher to have the B-17 design hand painted on the silk. The material is then meticulously cut and sewn into a jacket. The jackets have knit cuffs and waist with top entry/side-warmer pockets on both sides of the jacket.
