Our T-28B Trojan USN model aircraft is an exact replica of the trainer aircraft manufactured by North American Aviation. It was designed with a radial engine and used primarily as a trainer. However, it was deployed in the Vietnam War as a counter-insurgency aircraft. Today you can see them at airshows along with other Warbirds during aerobatic demonstrations.
This T-28B Trojan model aircraft is an authentic, extraordinary replica of the original aircraft that has been faithfully reproduced with kiln dried Philippine mahogany wood. (Coincidentally the T-28 was retired in the Philippines in 1994.) Each model is meticulously carved, hand sanded and painted following exact blueprint details of the original aircraft. The result is a handsome, wood airplane sculpture to be admired and enjoyed. It also arrives with an attractive wood base for display.
