This YF-23 ATF model aircraft is a scale replica of the original plane manufactured by Northrup McDonnell Douglas. The YF-23 ATF (Advanced Tactical Fighter) is a single seat twin-engine stealth fighter. Only two demonstrator aircraft were actually manufactured as the YF-23 was in competition for the next ATF which was won by Lockheed. The aircraft are currently in museum exhibits.
The YF-23 model arrives fully assembled and has an attractive base for aircraft display. This authentic, extraordinary replica of the original aircraft has been faithfully reproduced with pressure cast composite resin. Each model is meticulously crafted and painted following exact blueprint details of the original airplane. The end result is a handsome, collectible sculpture to be admired and enjoyed.
