PBY-5A Catalina Model

Our PBY 5A Catalina Airplane is a replica scale model of the original aircraft manufactured by Consolidated Aircraft. The PBY (patrol boat) Catalina was the most widely used flying boat during WW II, and it was used by every branch of the military service. Its main uses were as anti-submarine, patrol bombing, and search and rescue. During the Battle of Midway the Navy used the aircraft for night attacks on the Japanese. 3,305 PB Catalina aircraft were manufactured.
