Curtiss NC-4 Model

This NC-4 airplane is a replica wood scale model of the original aircraft manufactured by Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company. The NC-4 or Curtiss Navy airplane was nicknamed Nancy. It was primarily designed for long range patrol, but the NC-4 aircraft was the first to complete transatlantic flight. Only 10 of the Nancy's were built, but you can see an original at the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, FL.
