Description

This Orion Spacecraft is a replica scale model of the NASA Orion craft. The Orion capsule is designed for a crew of 4-6 astronauts for deep space missions. For the 2018 mission, uncrewed, the Orion will travel 40,000 miles beyond the moon, and return to Earth. The Orion model spacecraft arrives fully assembled and includes a handsome display stand.

This scale model of the Orion Spacecraft shows exquisite detail. The exterior is crafted from mostly pressure cast composite resin allowing the model to display each facet of the capsule. Careful detail is taken to keep all parts to scale making this spacecraft an extraordinary collectible model.

Very nice details on this Orion spacecraft model. I was impressed with the how nice the overall model and paint scheme flowed and specific details around areas like crew windows, hatches, and thrusters. I was also impressed with the packaging to keep the model safe during shipping.

Lots of attention to details on the structure and paint. Also thought the price was very good for this scale of model. Would be nice to have an alignment point/marking for the CM to ESM umbilical piece. Had to reference a photo to align accurately.
