Our Pan American Airways 307 Stratoliner Airplane is a replica scale model of the original aircraft manufactured by Boeing. The 307 Stratoliner was the first commercial aircraft with a pressurized cabin allowing it to climb to heights of 20,000 feet. It was also wide, for its time at 12 feet across. The initial flight was in 1938 and it was retired in 1975 with 10 Stratolinerís being built. You can see the only remaining 307 Stratoliner the Clipper Flying Cloud at the Boeing Aviation Hangar in Chantilly, Virginia.
